Subway Area Supervisor
The average range of restaurants managed ranges from 4-7. Staffing depends on skills, abilities, distance, and job requirements.
Area supervisor coordinates and supports all activities within the assigned geographic area.
Trains, coaches, and supports store supervisors.
Plans and sets business goals.
Focuses on in-restaurant issues.
Oversees the daily operations of several restaurants within their region.
Monitors the maintenance, repairs, and expenses of each restaurant.
Encourages standardization and enforcement of company polices.
Identify problems in the day-to-day operations and ways to fix them, including inconsistencies across restaurants.
Identify issues and resolve, as well as implement best practices.
Manage day-to-day operations while also working toward long-term business goals.
Identify profits and losses and operate within the parameters of budgets.
Communication across many teams (operations, human resources and administration)
Interview, hire, train and manage new store supervisors.
Directly responsible for the performance and development of store supervisors.
Develop the team and provide paths for growth within the company.
Maintain company culture and staff morale.
Keep operations as streamlined as possible.
Understand key revenue drivers and identify any room for improvement.
Develops Restaurant Supervisors and Sandwich Artists
Tasks focused on are:
Providing leadership to store supervisors and sandwich artists.
Ensures positive work culture throughout territory. Positive attitude and leads by example.
Maintains professional during all communication.
Directs staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security.
Maintains high Steritech Standards and Self Revs Performed weekly.
Recruits staff and oversees training program. Follows guide as outlined for training.
Responsible for inventory and money control systems –may establish inventory schedules.
Inventory- Maintains accurate WISR controls, In-depth knowledge on Subventory and how to configure items for accuracy.
Responsible for assisting and supporting restaurant supervisors during scheduling. In-depth knowledge on labor control/costs as well as store needs and how to staff accurately. Must have knowledge of LiveIQ Labor Scheduling and Subway Labor App.
Responsible for local marketing initiatives –may contact prospective customers to promote sales. Maintains business records and accurate cash controls/deposits.
Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position.
Executes exceptional Catering preparedness and accuracy.
Ensures University of Subway Training is completed and up to date.
Assists with new Window Materials and Training of new material.
Works as Sandwich Artist Managing home store.

Summary
The Multi-Unit Coverage Sandwich Artist is a senior hourly customer-facing role within our restaurant operations. This position performs all standard food preparation duties while also providing regional operational support by covering shortnotice staffing needs across multiple locations.
This role carries a higher rate of pay in recognition of the additional responsibilities, flexibility, and availability required to support up to 12 stores within the Binghamton and surrounding locations. This is a nonexempt, atwill position.
